Welcome To Eloma Episode 43: Mastering Your Pitch with Precious Williams
“Your end user might not be the people in front of you, but they are going to refer you to the person who will. So you have to make it memorable,” explains Precious Williams, CEO of Perfect Pitches By Precious. Precious is a 13 time national elevator pitch champion, a four time best selling author, and has been featured on Shark Tank. Today, she joins host Kiley Peters to talk about mastering the perfect pitch.
Pitching can be difficult to get right and there is a lot to take into consideration. Some commonly made mistakes are pitching to the wrong audience, not bringing enough energy, having a boring presentation, making your wording too generic, and not having a true call to action. When making a pitch, you need to go in with confidence. It is imperative that you practice a lot beforehand so that the pitch can flow naturally. Be creative and make your pitch memorable so that people will want to tell others about it.
Creating the perfect pitch takes time and requires a lot of practice; but when you nail it, it can help make your dreams a reality. Learn more about how to master your pitch and what mistakes to avoid, so that you can capture your target audience’s attention and achieve your goals.
