Welcome to Eloma

As a business owner, you have spent years growing your company. But there may come a time when you're ready to move on to new endeavors. When that time comes, it's important to have a clear plan for exiting your business. Lindsay Pinchuk shares her experience in stepping away from what she has built and the process that comes next. She also talks about the key steps needed when it comes to entering agreements as part of the exit planning process. Learn more about the elements necessary to ensure a smooth and successful exit from your business.

Highlights:

03:22 I don’t think as a founder, you ever think like “I'm ready to leave,” you're not really ready to leave until you are ready to leave.

08:11 I know what it’s like to want to jump out of bed and get going in the morning and I didn’t have that anymore and it was in that moment that I said, you know what? I think my time has run up.

09:11 I think that, had I been able to do it over again, I think I would have thought a lot more about this process and talked to other founders who exited before entering an agreement.

18:26 I just need to stop for a minute and say to myself, how did I do it the first time and ok now, how can I do it the second time but faster because I know exactly what I’m doing. To name the thing and break down the steps.

23:33 Be honest with yourself in what is your unique gift, what is the demand in the marketplace and what is it that you want to do.
